Getting started
- Tell us about your business. Your business name, the name to sign emails with, where replies should go, and how clients pay you. Pick England or Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland: letters and court steps differ between them.
- Add the invoice that's late. The client's name and email, whether they're a limited company, a sole trader or a private person, the invoice number, the amount still owed and the due date.
- Check the emails. You'll see every step PaidStraight would take for that invoice, with the date of each one, and the first email in full. Choose Start chasing, or Not yet to keep it paused.
After that, the dashboard shows what's owed, what's waiting for you and what goes out next.
Adding more invoices
Add them one at a time from Invoices > Add invoice, or import a spreadsheet: see Importing a spreadsheet.
Test mode
Until sending is switched on for your account, emails go to a test inbox and never reach your clients. The banner at the top of every page says when this is the case.
Still stuck? Email us and we'll answer in writing.
